  1. I thought the photo was an unbelievable posting from a Boston media publication. This patriotic, positive attitude, can do type article flies in the face of the Trump is bad, America is bad, the military is bad, he deserved to lose a limb, etc. that the press normally trumpets. Does this signify a major shift in media as it recognized its liberal, anti-American propaganda is failing and producing a failing business model? I doubt it, but hope springs eternal. As to the Norks, I think that President Trump is working closely with the Chicoms to defuse the situation and to deliver roasted Porky Pig to the mental ward soon. And the best news yet, Paul Ryan’s approval numbers are now around 29%, and many are wondering why it is still so high. The sooner he is gone from the scene, the better off America will be. So, let’s welcome the new day, seize every opportunity for good works, and make it a good one. More later.

  2. Right v Left handedness from last night:
I am somewhat ambidextrous: I am left eye dominant, write right, shoot a long gun or bow left, pool cue mostly right but can use left, golf right, throw (poorly) right, almost equally strong right v left.

  3. Well ya gotcher RIGHT handed folks and ya gotcher CORRECT handed folks.

Thank the good Lord I’m CORRECT handed! 🙂
    (and somewhat ambidextrous too)

Notice that is the Boston Herald, not the Boston Globe. The Herald reliably reports from a much more sane and conservative perspective and have done so for years.

Wow. Just wow. You could tell those planes were heavily loaded on their take-offs. I was waiting for one of them to just go “blip” over the edge.

God bless our brave men in uniform, past, present, and future.

  6. A successful rancher died and left everything to his devoted wife.

She was a very good-looking woman and determined to keep the ranch, but knew very little about ranching, so she decided to place an ad in the newspaper for a ranch hand..

Two cowboys applied for the job. One was gay and the other a drunk.

She thought long and hard about it, and when no one else applied she decided to hire the gay guy, figuring it would be safer to have him around the house than the drunk.

He proved to be a hard worker who put in long hours every day and knew a lot about ranching.

For weeks, the two of them worked, and the ranch was doing very well.

Then one day, the rancher’s widow said to the hired hand, “You have done a really good job, and the ranch looks great. You should go into town and kick up your heels.”

The hired hand readily agreed and went into town one Saturday night.

One o’clock came, however, and he didn’t return.

Two o’clock and no hired hand.

Finally he returned around two-thirty, and upon entering the room, he found the rancher’s widow sitting by the fireplace with a glass of wine, waiting for him.

She quietly called him over to her..

“Unbutton my blouse and take it off,” she said.

Trembling, he did as she directed. “Now take off my boots.”

He did as she asked, ever so slowly. “Now take off my stockings.” He removed each gently and placed them neatly by her boots.

    “Now take off my skirt.”

He slowly unbuttoned it, constantly watching her eyes in the fire light.

    “Now take off my bra..”

Again, with trembling hands, he did as he was told and dropped it to the floor.

Then she looked at him and said, “If you ever wear my clothes into town again, you’re fired.”

  7. Mornin’ Gang.
Downright Ducky out there, thunder boomers before day and constant rain since then.
Right Handed, right eyed, my left hand is as dumb as a fence post. Sister is left handed, her son and mine are right handed, left eyed. Mom was right handed, right eyed and fired a shotgun right handed, batted left!?!?

  8. Raining, raining, raining when I got up. And predicted to keep on raining all day. OK by me, I need to do a lot of things indoors today. And I don’t mean spending the whole day on the innanet. 🙁

  9. Anyone besides me think they are “right-eared”? I believe my hearing is equally acute in both ears, but when I pick up the handset on my landline phone, I always put the speaker to my right ear. If I even try to listen at my left ear, I get all discombobulated.

  10. I agree with this guy. This is child abuse. As one who’s been abused, I’m acutely sensitive to what these kids are going through, especially Cody.

I hope the parents get what’s coming to them before the kids are a lost cause. Their formative years are already behind them, unfortunately, so these emotional patterns have been set. It’s okay to intimidate others. It’s okay to make others fearful. It’s okay to physically assault others. It’s okay to abuse others, especially if you get compensated for it. The weaker are at the mercy of the larger. Feelings don’t count and are not acknowledged if it makes the abuser look bad.

    These parents suck.

Well, if you die, the cat can’t operate the can opener, so what do you expect?

Neither can my dog. But if I die, he’ll just lay there next to me and cry until I stink enough for him to roll in it.

  12. Good afternoon Hamsters. Wet and wetter over night and this morning and so far 2.3″ in the gauge for this round. Puddles in the yard and pastures, so we hope this is the end for today and for tomorrow too.

Another lead on finding a companion for Tessa came from our local horse vet. Seems someone in the area who’s been breeding Arabians finds himself a widower who now has more horses than he can manage, including several older mares that could use a retirement home….

  13. My retired Jewish lawyer friend, Barnett, called tonight to ask me why Judaism is the only religion in which its members pray for the end of a holiday. Guess ?

He’s a very conservative former chief EPA litigator (how’s that for oxymoron ?). He was once telling me how his bosses would bring a case to him that he thought was just stupid. Barnett would refuse to prosecute it. I asked him how he got away with it and he told me he waged psychological warfare on them for years. They were terrified he knew all kinds of sordid secrets about their personal lives so they were afraid to fire him.

If you knew the guy like I do, you would believe his story.

  14. Hoping this is true.

Candace Marie Claiborne has become the first Clinton-era State Department employee indicted on treason charges, after a federal grand jury indicted her for conspiring to defraud the U.S. government, concealing contact with foreign spies, obstructing an official proceeding, and making false statements to the FBI.

Claiborne, a veteran State Department employee who possessed a Top Secret security clearance, concealed her extensive contacts with Chinese intelligence agents, who for years lavished her with thousands of dollars in gifts as part of a pay-for-play scheme, according to a Department of Justice press release.

In addition to cash payments, Chinese spies provided Claiborne with vacations, an apartment, Apple electronics, and tuition to a Chinese fashion school, according to the indictment. Suggesting she learned tricks from Hillary Clinton, her former boss, Claiborne allegedly told co-conspirators to delete all emails and evidence after getting caught.

The bill of charges contains numerous felonies and Claiborne, 60, is facing spending the rest of her life behind bars, as prosecutors warn she is “the first of many” corrupt Clinton-era State Department employees that will be bought to justice by a reinvigorated DOJ.

Evidently, sadly, she has not been charged for treason where she can be shot but has been charged for obstruction or something. Go Trump!

  16. 32 GJT

Treason is a very high bar to clear statutorily. There have been very, very few people ever charged with it in our history.

But, just because she hasn’t been charged now doesn’t mean additional charges won’t or can’t be added down the line.

  17. Just saw a surprising VW car commercial.

It shows various cars…ummmm…rocking, as the couple becomes a family becomes a bigger family. Each iteration of car rocking ends with a new car and more family members waiting for their new ride.

You think that’s bad ? Check this out:

Dove brand soap has gone full Social Justice Warrior, featuring a man who says they are not only a woman (i.e., transgender), but they are a mother.

To be clear – In Dove’s ad, the baby’s biological father identifies as the mother.

Moms, get ready to be insulted as this man attempts to appropriate motherhood in the latest assault on women. The biological mother says in one clip…

    No kidding.

Well, the article claimed she had been indicted for treason. She hasn’t been. My only point. I hate these freaking fake FB “news articles” no matter which way they bend.

  20. I hate these freaking fake FB “news articles” no matter which way they bend.

Pi$$es me off to no end everyday. I double and triple check nearly everything.

  21. Today is also the anniversary of Paul Revere’s midnight ride to spread the alarm to every middlesex, village, and farm. Listen my children and you shall hear….
